AFC East Favorites?

AFC East favorites? Quick post from the phone here but have to update yall. As of a few hours ago, the Jets slid into the top odds to win the AFC East at +165. While this may not seem too outrageous keep in mind, they now have the same odds to make the playoffs as the Green Bay Packers. What we’ve heard is that the boost in odds apparently comes from no major training camp injuries and excellent preseason/joint practice performance. Now knowing the jets it feels like something bad is approaching from the horizon with this odds shift. But we’re just going to have to pray. Quick one for you guys to read. What We Learned From Saleh's August 21st Press Conference

Image
Important Information From The August 21st Press Conference Video from: New York Jets Youtube Robert Saleh spoke to the media on Wednesday before the joint practice with the Giants. Here's what we learned. Olu Fashanu minor elbow strain: Jets are gonna Jet Our first round pick Olu Fashanu is hurt with an elbow strain and is being held out for the near future. Now Saleh and the team don't seem concerned with this injury but frankly it makes me mad. We saw the same thing with Alijah Vera-Tucker last season when he was being moved around constantly, if you move rookies around in the offensive line, chances are they're going to be hurt because they aren't comfortable with the position. I get it, if Morgan Moses or Tyron Smith get hurt Fashanu is slated to be the next in line, BUT, we have a third year guy in Max Mitchell who started seven games last season. Olu obviously has more potential and will ultimately be the better tackle, but he needs time to get comfortable in on...

Predicting the 2024 New York Jets Regular Season

Predicting the 2024 New York Jets Regular Season  The 2024 NFL season is one of the most hyped up seasons for the New York Jets in over a decade.  A top notch defense lead by Quinnen and Quincy Williams, along with lockdown corners with Sauce Gardner and D.J. Reed, mixed with an offense filled with talent like Garrett Wilson, Breece Hall, and Aaron Rodgers, has Jets fans hyped up for an expected playoff push in the coming season.  That being said, this season is anything but guaranteed. If injuries are limited and certain things go our way, the sky is the limit for this team and more specifically the sky is the limit for Garrett Wilson. Without further-ado here is my prediction for the 2024 New York Jets season. FYI: While this is a Jets based blog, this blog in specific will focus heavily on other teams to give context to Jets fans to understand why they will win or lose these games.
